A Week In The Life Of A Baskets Galore Customer Service Advisor
Hello Folks! Long time no speak when it comes to my 'Life Of A Baskets Galore Customer Service Advisor' ;) I've been pretty busy, as you will come to learn, we had volumes of Gift Baskets being dispatched as well as customers needing assistance and even a local delivery needing a courier!
How I Helped A Customer: I'm sure you all know by now that we have several ways our customers can get in contact with the BG Team. One of the most popular is the Live Chat application that customers use to ask all kinds of questions such as delivery queries, times, prices, request instructions, request recommendations, needing assistance etc. This week I assisted Catherine with creating her perfect Gift Basket.She wanted to add additional items to her chosen Gift Basket, so I was able to redirect her from our main site Baskets Galore to our sister site Irish Gourmet. This site allows you to either add items to a Pre Made Basket or Create Your Own. You can read how her Gift Basket turned our in the special Blog regarding Catherine's order ;).
Something Nice/Rewarding That Happened: You might have noticed that is was recently International Mother's Day and we had some gorgeous Gift Baskets being dispatched. To add to our amazing collection of lovely Reviews, here is a great one for an International Mother's Day Gift:
Something Difficult/Frustrating That Happened: We have been sending out our snazzy redesigned Ice Packs for a little while now. These Ice Packs are designed to keep food items such as meats and cheeses cool for up to 72 hours! We recenlty added an note including an invitation for recipients to call us if they have any queries. We also include a pack time and date along with a notice to open immediately.So this week I received a call from a recipient who received her Gift Basket a week ago and has only just opened her Ice Pack...Ahh! She enjoyed all her delicious fruits and snacks and left the bag unopened until she was almost done her basket. This is a little tricky, as we want the recipients to enjoy their Gift Basket to the fullest, so we usually dispatch replacement products if delivery is delayed or sometimes even if the recipient misses delivery (we are THAT kind ;) )
Best Gift Basket: When doing my Daily Dispatches earlier, I noticed a lovely Chocolate Eruption being sent from our customer in CLEETHORPES who was sending BIG thanks:

Most Excited Purchaser: I came across a lovely Gift Basket that was being sent from our customer in BOURNEMOUTH to their son. They were sending the Motivational Gift Basket and it was accompanied with the loveliest message, from father to son:'Dear Charley - Happy Birthday. I have chosen the "motivational hamper" so you can reward yourself after each bit of work you do towards your next exams, and to tell you how amazingly proud I am of what you are doing. I miss you every day. Can't wait to see you in July. Love you loads. Dad xxxxxxx'
Something Funny That Happened: Now I'm not sure if you have all seen this, but this week we actually had a local competition winner from our Daily Dispatch Competition! Hopefully you all know about our monthly competitions? ;) We upload a daily snap of some of our favourite Gift Baskets and Hampers that are being dispatched that day (along with our dispatch blogs).We then run a monthly competition on both Twitter and Facebook selecting a winner who liked and shared one of our Daily Dispatch Posts. This is a completely random date in the whole month, chosen by our funky date selecter app and we then send the winner a delicious Gift Basket! Woo!
