Your gift basket is professionally wrapped in cellophane & decorated in ribbons. It is then placed into a brown cardboard box branded with ‘BasketsGalore’. The gift basket is also bubble-wrapped & there are foam pieces inside the box to keep the gift secure in transit.
Of course. When you are taken through the order process, there is a box to write your gift card message into. We then print this out & stick it into an appropriate gift card & send it with your gift.
This is no problem. You can order a few days or a few weeks/months in advance. Simply pick the standard delivery option (2-3 days) at the cost of £9.99, and then pick your preferred delivery date from the calendar.
In November/December you will also see a "Christmas Delivery" shipping option. As specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed in December, we operate a weekly delivery schedule at this time.
You will notice Fridays are the available dates in the calendar during checkout.
The Friday is the LATEST date that your gift will be delivered that week, it may be on or before it.
We react to the info. provided by our courier partners at this very busy time to ensure all gifts arrive in time for Christmas.
A working, local telephone number is asked for by good courier companies. This is simply in case of any delivery problems, such as difficulty locating an address or if they cannot gain access to flats or a gated address.
This is no problem. Simply go to our Corporate Order section & you can complete our quick Bulk Order Form. If you have less than 5 Addresses you may wish to use the online Multiple Checkout instead.
If you need to send gifts to a number of different addresses or recipients, we can help by taking these details in a convenient format. You can simply email the details or your spreadsheet to [email protected]. We will then reply to confirm the order & price and arrange a suitable time to contact you to collect payment.
If you have fewer than 10 addresses you can simply hit the MULTIPLE ADDRESSES button (when viewing your shopping cart) to proceed through our on-line multiple order checkout. This allows you to input various addresses & gift card messages, all under the one payment transaction.

Unfortunately this is not general practice due to the large amount of parcels they are delivering. Sometimes our Irish Courier may ring in advance if the address is particularly remote, but we cannot guarantee this.
Most couriers (DPD) now offer contactless delivery, meaning the driver will usually knock and leave the parcel safely at the door. A photo may be taken to show where it was left.
If you’ve provided the recipient’s mobile number, they’ll receive a text message before delivery and another confirmation once it’s been delivered. Having a local contact number is really helpful in case the driver needs directions or help accessing the property.
Some couriers (such as DHL) still need a signature. So if you know they will not be at home, we recommend sending your gift to an address where someone will be present, or to a work address to make sure someone is available to receive it. Drivers aren’t able to leave parcels unattended if no one’s home.
If delivery isn’t possible, the courier will leave a calling card with details on how to rearrange delivery or collect the parcel from their local depot. If a mobile phone number has been provided they will receive this information via SMS text. The recipient will need to contact the courier directly to make new arrangements.
Because deliveries are made by independent couriers, we’re unable to pass on requests such as “deliver after 4pm” or “call before delivery.”
To make things easier for our customers, we provide a complimentary in-house delivery tracking service for every order. Our team monitors each delivery, steps in if any issues arise, and assists the recipient to ensure the gift arrives as quickly and smoothly as possible.
During the Christmas period, however, the exceptionally high volume of orders means that we’re unable to track each parcel individually. Instead, you’ll receive automatic delivery tracking updates by email for your convenience.

When your gift basket is dispatched we email you a tracking number, to allow you to track the delivery online. If you notice a delivery problem, then please reply to your order confirmation email, with a brief outline of the problem. This email goes through to our Customer Services Team, who will look into it immediately.
Yes, we accept all major international debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, and Diners.
Our secure online payment system allows customers from around the world to place orders with ease, making it simple to send gift baskets or corporate Christmas hampers to recipients in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and across Europe.
All transactions are processed in British Pounds (GBP), and your card provider will automatically handle the currency conversion at their standard exchange rate. There are no additional fees charged by us for using an international card, though your card issuer may apply a small international transaction fee.
If you prefer not to pay by card, we also offer bank transfer payments through our Corporate Department, which can be particularly convenient for business or bulk orders.
Should you experience any difficulty at checkout or require an invoice for your international payment, our customer service team will be happy to assist.
All smoked salmon and cooked meats are vacuum packed and freshly prepared on the date of despatch. We incorporate gourmet chilled food parcels so that everything remains cool in transit. Baskets containing fresh produce or fresh fruit will not be dispatched on Friday, as the next available delivery date is not until Monday and so the items would be in transit for 2 extra days over the weekend. There is the option to substitute fresh fruits with sundried fruits for Monday delivery - we will contact you via email and offer this option. Otherwise any non time sensitive perishable gifts (thank you, get well baskets) will be dispatched on the Monday for delivery on Tuesday instead. All parcels are delivered by 3rd party courier service and must be signed for. It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure someone will be at the delivery address to provide a signature.
