Q. My first question to Maria was “What message do you want to send?”.

A. She said there wasn’t any specific message but ideally she’d like something that is engaging.

Q. I then asked if he has any hobbies or interests.

A. Maria explained that his favourite thing to do during the weekend is to take her out for drives around the coast in his car.

Q. Following on from this I quizzed Maria about what he likes to talk about. This helps me choose which collection in our Birthday Range would suit the recipient most. A. Maria confirmed that he likes to talk about anything involving sports, cars or fitness. At this stage I already had a good idea which collection would be best suited for her boyfriend but I asked a couple more questions to be sure.

Q. I asked Maria what his favourite sport is.

A. To which she said football.

Q. Lastly I checked if there were any other details that would help me to select some options.

A. Maria confirmed that its his 30^th Birthday so having something inside that reflects this would be great.

Offering these options was based on his interests in sports and cars. All of the gifts included in the Interesting Birthday Gift Collection have a magazine. Which can be customised to suit the interests of the person receiving it.

In the yellow gifts above we allow the sender to choose a sporting magazine from the drop down box when placing the order. This ranges from football, to cycling or golf. If none of those options are suitable we have also incorporated the option for the sender to request any type of magazine. We then do our best to accommodate their request from what is available in our warehouse.

The red gifts above provide the sender with the option to choose from six of our top selling magazines. These include Women & Men’s Lifestyle along with Top Gear and Hello magazine.

Aside from the magazine, we also send a gift card with every Gift Basket or Gift Hamper. As its his 30^th Birthday I was able to personalise the card by adding her message onto a 30^th Birthday card.

I gave Maria some time to browse through the options. After short deliberation she chose ‘The Podium Gift Basket’. Which I think is a great choice because of its vibrant red colour and delicious treats tucked inside.

Maria chose to have it sent to her own address so she could gift it to him directly. A few days after delivery we received notification that she had left an appreciative review on our website.
