With St Patrick's Day falling on Saturday we thought this was a great time to showcase our Top 5 Irish Food Products. It was difficult to pick only 5 however as we have SO MANY products of Irish origin, many of which are Great Taste Award winners. With this in mind we have gone for the most popular items chosen by you, our lovely customers.1 Ditty's Moist Irish Tea Cake - this cake is incredibly popular and features in many of our Gift Hampers. We have a weekly delivery to ensure a constant, fresh supply. It is produced by Ditty's Bakery, owned by Robert Ditty often described as the Master Baker of Ireland. 2. Wax Wrapped Cheese - cheese is another firm favourite in both our Gift Hampers and Gift Baskets. We stock a variety of different flavours by both Bandon Vale & Carrigaline Cheese 3. Toasted Soda Breads - The Foods of Athenry produce lots of lovely gluten free products of which we stock quite a few. Their toasted soda breads are really healthy and delicious and make a great accompaniment for the Cheese and Chutneys also in our Hampers. 4. Ummera Organic Smoked Salmon - we started including smoked salmon in our Christmas Hampers many moons ago and discovered our Customers wanted to see it available all year round. Since then we've never looked back and receive a weekly delivery of  Ummera Organic Smoked Salmon for our Artisan and Great Taste Award Hampers.5. Handmade Jam By Brownlees Preserves - Specialising in Non-Alcoholic Hampers means we don't focus on wine and through in a few accompaniments. We have lots of variety in preserves and a staple one is Rhubarb and Ginger Jam by Brownlees. This is just a smaller selection of the Irish Food Products we stock, we are lucky to stock many more and we can create fully Irish Hampers. These are available for St Patrick's Day and also the rest of the year round. We also have a dedicated sister site called Irish Gourmet and you can shop in either Sterling or Euro, creating your own Irish Hamper or selecting from the ones we have designed.
