The Gift of Giving Never Gets Old

This was my first Christmas at Basket’s Galore, I started in September and the prep began almost immediately! We had many customers ordering for Christmas as early as October, and we were busy making the preparations behind the scenes. I was warned how busy we would be, and I was not disappointed. We had thousands of orders going out weekly and it was hard to escape the buzz of Christmas. I felt like a Christmas Elf…

Covid definitely affected Christmas at Baskets Galore, we were busier than ever with more people ordering online for their loved ones they don’t have the privilege of visiting this year. We faced unprecedented demand and went out of stock of almost everything as early as the 11^th December. Thankfully we were able to put more baskets back into stock so we could live up to all our customers high expectations!

Working in operations is more than just processing orders. We individually check and respond to any discrepancies within each order, so that we can provide the best service possible to you all. My favourite part of the whole gifting process was reading everyone’s personal gift messages to their loved ones. Some funny, some emotional, some not so descriptive! I won’t disclose them to you all…

It was so lovely to make people happy this Christmas, and bring love to their families they are not with. I will post some of my favourite customer reviews from the period, so you know how grateful we are for your continued support during Covid, Christmas, and all throughout the year.
