It's exciting to see all the new products Kate has been sourcing lately start to feature in the special occasion gifts baskets and hampers we have been dispatching. In our Tea & Coffee Gift for example we can see Rhythm 108 Tea Biscuits now making an appearance. I had to break my diet briefly to taste test these bad boys, and I have to say they were worth it. I then found out they aren't all that bad for you either as they are made vegan, gluten free, organic, a source of fibre and contain no refined sugar. Result! This particular gift basket was ordered for a lady in Carshalton for her birthday, from her family in Auckland, New Zealand.
As a Get Well Gift, sometimes fresh fruit or food isn't the best option, or even a possible option if surgery is involved. This is why we came up with a range of alternative get well baskets which are wither light on food or completely food free. Instead there is more of an emphasis on pampering goodies and things to entertain such as magazine and books. This particular pamper gift basket is called Alternative Therapies For Her, although we do also have a version for men. When I checked what the special occasion was for this basket however I discovered it was indeed a Thank You Gift. Sent to a lady in London to thank her for a recent day out. The idea was for her to relax and put her feet up after a busy day of sight seeing.
I'll let you into a bit of a secret about Wednesday's Gift Basket of the Day. Kirsten was off and we forgot to take a photo in her absence. Luckily however, we have a catalogue of gift basket photographs that we can pick from the archives. The one I selected was the Gin Hamper I created for my husband for a Father's Day Gift from our boys. I purchased some Jawbox Gin from the supermarket, along with some mini bottles of tonic, honeycomb and lemon and limes. We then combined these with some chocolate and snacks from the BG store to create this colourful Gin gift basket. If you would like to have a go at creating your own gift basket you can do so here.
Love was in the air on Thursday as this Mr & Mrs Gift Basket was selected as 'Basket of the Day'. This was ordered for a couple in Manchester to celebrate their special day. The sender lives in the States and so was unable to attend the wedding. This is a really love gift because as well as chocolates and marshmallows there is a "Special Occasion" candle, Mr & Mrs egg cups and a honeymoon photo album to theme it.
For the final basket of the week I couldn't just pick one, as our Customer had selected 2 baby boy gift baskets for the lucky recipients. Le Petit Organic Baby Boy basket focuses on items for baby, and the New Mother Survival Gift Baby Boy has things for mum as well. Who can resist a cuddly toy and here we have 2? Cozy Cuddles Teddy Bear from the Russ Berrie Baby Collection and Oh So Soft Cuddly Elephant with rattle from the Gund Baby Collection.
