And that is Easter 2016 over folks! It's been a busy one but we wouldn't have it any other way :) I will let you have a look into what I get up to as a BG Customer Service Advisor/Easter Bunny during our busy period! How I Helped A Customer:During our busy periods, our cut off times need to be met, but when I got a call from a customer who needed their Gift Basket the very next day, I had to work some BG magic. Staying in contact with our customer while they made their order online, I also contacted the warehouse team to freshly prepare their Gift Basket ASAP. I then took note of the customers name and waited for the order to come through online.Once this comes through I quickly address check, prepare the Gift Card and Delivery Document and off it pops to the warehouse. The next day I noticed this lovely Review:'I needed to get an Easter basket delivered to my granddaughter in Brighton. I'm in the United States and thought it would be difficult but Baskets Galore made it so simple! Each email was responded to very quickly and the basket , which my grand-daughter loved, was delivered with no problems. I will definitely use them again'.  aSomething Nice/Rewarding That Happened:Being in Customer Services, I am constantly emailing customers in order to perfect all the Orders before Dispatch. So when I sent our customer a Gift Message reminder, I got the loveliest response:'No gift card message required - my nephews and niece will just dive into the sweets. By the way, they absolutely loved the Christmas basket. The two-year-old was able to tell me (two weeks later) that she really liked the lollipops and the jelly beans. As you can see, she knows all the essential food groups already.
Thank you very much and greetings to the entire team. Great gifts, great service, great team.
All the best and until my next order...'

Something Difficult/Frustrating That Happened:This was an easy one, the Easter Operating Dates! For all our customers, abroad and at home, there was definitely some confusion for the delivery dates available. As the Easter Bank Holidays lasted from 25/03/16 - 29/03/16 a lot of our customers were confused as to why delivery could not be made within these dates! Ahh! So various emails/calls/messages were made but I have to say this was 100% one of our most successful Easters and we had  numerous happy customers :)easter-bunnyBest Gift Basket: My favourite Gift Basket this Easter and the clear winner was the Golden Easter Basket. This not only sold extremely well but every time I ventured into the warehouse, EVERY SINGLE ONE looked fabulous. Have a little look:And how could I not include the custom HORSE BASKET?! This was created in our BG Warehouse for our customer Leanne who contacted us with a VERY unusual Gift Basket idea. To celebrate her sisters horse giving birth, Leanne wanted to send a little gift pack contacting Oats, Hay, Carrots, Apples, Champers and Chocs (for sister Sondra)  and even polo mints! You can have a look below of the finished product and Leanne's lovely Review left for us!index 'My sister's horse foaled last week - a really big event for her an I wanted to let her know I cared. Unfortunately I live in Belgium and know diddly-squat about horses. Baskets Galore helped me create a unique gift basket of items for both the horse and my sister and then hand delivered it the next day. From Belgium it would have been nearly impossible to send fresh carrots, apples, hay and oats without their help. They even found Polo mints - a favourite of this horse...'Least... (Yes, LEAST) Excited Purchaser:You should all know by now that BG is so great, that we even have a Create Your Own Site that allows you to make your perfect Gift Basket. So when our customer Teri made her own, we noticed a less than excited Gift Message attached:'...PS. There would have been more gifts but there website is so stupid. It's taken me all morning. Lol 'Oh dear! Not wanting to leave a bad taste in Teri's mouth, we were on the case and even added a little extra snack to Teri's Gift Basket. We touched base with Teri and she was more than happy with the extra chocs and advised she was just having a bad morning, which we all get!indexSomething Funny That Happened:After making numerous Gift Cards, there was one that stood out like a sore thumb! Our customer was sending a Thank You/Apology Gift Basket and the Gift Message to accompany read:'...Sorry I nearly ruined your ceiling!! Really, though, my sincerest apologies for the ceiling...I hope it's fixable, and I feel silly/embarrassed to have been THAT person...'And that's it for this week Folks! Don't worry though, I'll be back with some more BG tales :)Man falling through ceiling of house
