It's been very long time since we wrote 'A Week In The Life Of A Baskets Galore Customer Service Advisor' . We have been very busy from October, preparing for Christmas rush then dispatching your Christmas orders and catching up on everyday admin and various reports on January & February. But the good news is that we are back! We will try to fill you in on our week as a Baskets Galore Customer Service Advisor as much as we can.

How I Helped A CustomerWe are dealing with customer queries on a daily basis and we are trying to help as much as we can. We received a call from John on Valentine's day inquiring about a delivery of the Gift Basket that he sent to his girlfriend. Tracking information showed that delivery failed due to premises being closed at the time of delivery attempt. John said that this is not possible as he just spoke with his girlfriend and business is open. While talking with John we discovered that delivery address was slightly incorrect. I had to react very quickly as John wanted his gift delivered on Valentine's day. I rang DHL courier right away and explained the situation. As correct address was just around the corner of the original address I had a very big hope that it can be redelivered on the same day. Thanks to my fast reaction and great DHL customer service, basket has been redelivered successfully on Valentine's day. Another happy customer!

Fantastic product selection and outstanding customer service with that very rare personal touch. Will be using this service again and again.

I can highly recommend the Baskets Galore service. The website is user friendly and allows customers to choose the items to go in the basket which is a great option that allows you to select the perfect gift for a loved one. Customer service is prompt and thorough. Communicating via email from Australia I received excellent service when there was a sudden change of delivery address. Staff went out of their way to assist. My daughter loved her gift and was impressed with the high quality of the products in the basket. Great Service and Great Products. Thank You.

Something Difficult/ Frustrating That HappenedWe deliver our beautiful Gift Baskets across UK, Republic Of Ireland and Europe. We have introduced deliveries to the Channel Islands, Norway & Switzerland. Parcels being sent to these countries require a commercial invoice to be sent with them. They are marked as gifts, but unfortunately the occasional parcel may still be stopped by customs as an import. Parcels may then be subject to further custom charges over which we have no control. And so this has happened recently. We have received a call from courier letting us know that the Gift Basket has been stopped by customs in Norway and there will be a charge applied. As I mentioned before unfortunately neither ourselves or courier service have any control over these. We contacted our customer and advised them of the charge, gift basket will be released once custom charge is paid. It's frustrating as it causes a delay on delivery!But on a brighter side, this is not happening often. We send a lot of gifts to Non EU countries and this is the first time in 2 years that this has happened.
