The middle of August already and I was lucky enough to be away on holiday this week, so my fellow BGers took over this weeks gift basket dispatches. We seem to be missing Thursday 15th for some reason, but there are still plenty of options to discuss. This weeks blog really helps to showcase how we offer gift baskets for everyone. This Thank You Lions Piccadilly gift basket has beautiful earthy tones of greens, browns and blues. This one was ordered by a gentleman in NSW, Australia to thank a family in Dorking for their hospitality when he was visiting. This gift combines European & British tastes with some highlights of this gift basket are Prosecco, Italian Pasta, Olive oil and White Truffle Paté along with Irish cheese, cookies and lemon curd.Next up we had a Create Your Own Gift Basket designed by a lady in Darwin, Australia. She created it for a Grandfather in Newport-on-Tay for his birthday. She picked a selection of sweets, shortbread, tea and cookies. He have also been adding complimentary Lindt chocolate characters to our food hampers this week, as you can see in the picture below.I love our Get Well Gift Baskets as they are just so innovative compared to a bog standard fruit basket. Although you can of course have a plain and simple basket of fresh fruit, you can also choose from a range of Get Well Gifts for him, for her or for children. Take this Get Well Fruit Survival For Her for example. Ordered by colleagues in Ashby-De-La-Zouch for their work chum in Angus to help her have a speedy recovery. As well as fresh fruit, juice, nuts and chocolates there is also a puzzle book, colouring book, novel and magazine to keep the patient entertained.I can't seem to find a picture for Thursday so I think perhaps we didn't manage to get one with a couple of us being away on our holidays, so we will move onto our Basket of the Day from Friday instead.I think we featured a Grandfather's Basket recently and so it is only right we showcase the Grandmother's version. With it's tea, biscuits, cake, chocolates, fudge and marmalade's and also featuring a lovely china mug and Grandmother themed tea towel. This particular one was ordered by a family in West Hills, California for their Nana back in Ireland. They are really missing her and wished they could be there to celebrate. From these selected gifts alone we can start to see the wide range of recipients of our gift baskets and hampers. We've discussed family - grandfather, grandmother, a friend and a work colleague. We can also see a few of the occasions they are suitable for such as thank you, birthdays and get well soon.As always this only scratches the surface of the occasions and recipients we can cater for. If you have any queries or would like to create a bespoke gift then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
