One of the perks of being a DHL customer is that they often thank you for your custom with invites to events or nights out.
For example, in the past we were invited to watch the football at Old Trafford from a Corporate Box, as they sponsored Manchester United’s training kit.
Once a year they also host a dinner across various regions of the UK for their best customers. We use DHL to deliver the majority of our hampers across England, Scotland and Wales and after trialling several different couriers over the years we have found DHL to be the most reliable and consistent. Their Customer Service is also second to none with tracking, re-deliveries and re-directions being easy to organise.
You get 2 tickets to the DHL dinner and this year was the turn of Lynne and Neil to attend. They got to mingle with all the DHL big-wigs and chat with other customers from across the region. It was hosted in a swanky local hotel, called The Merchant, which meant getting dressed to impress and enjoying dinner and drinks.
At previous dinners there have also been games and quizzes organised in order to break the ice and get all the attendees involved. DHL also share their plans for the upcoming year and allow you the opportunity to discuss business opportunities too.
Lynne & Neil had a most enjoyable evening (strawberry daiquiri's were mentioned), but as I wasn't there they forgot to take any photographs. So unfortunately we will just have to imagine them in all their finery. Lynne even got her hair done for the occasion!
