New BasketsGalore.co.uk Website Launch
It's been a work in progress all summer and this week our new website was finally ready to launch, yey! We've been so excited to see the design and coding coming together to create the brand new BasketsGalore, and we hope you like it too! We intend to update the images on a regular basis to keep things fresh for the current month.
Everything was trialled and tested before the launch, but of course there are always going to be a few errors with links, text & image resolutions with any new website. This new design is also responsive which means it adapts to the device you are viewing the website on. So we had to do testing across multiple browsers & multiple devices, to ensure the design looked good and that the website and shopping cart were functioning correctly across them all.Luckily these little issues were kept to a minimum & our team of eagle-eyed staff have been busy making their way through the MANY pages on the website. We reckon there are at least 100 pages if you don't count individual product pages, so there is lots to do.As well as the new look and navigation we also have a new, one page checkout which we'll talk about in more detail in another blog. We think it really simplifies the ordering process and the updating shipping calendar will really help when selecting delivery dates for specific products.As always, we love to hear from you so please get in touch with any comments of if you notice anything not working correctly.
