At Baskets Galore we understand that it is not always easy to pick a gift for a loved one who lives across the pond, that’s why we have a range of baskets with you in mind.For the wine buff’s in your life we have a range of delicious wines, some crafted by using an ancient method of drying grapes ranging to the fresh extra dry bubbles picked off of the vine from the Prosecco region in Italy.
Viva la France - $116.43When designing this basket we wanted the receiver to be whisked off to France from the comfort of their own home. The contents of the basket allow you to imagine sitting in a beautiful little Parisian bistro along The Champs-Elysées, sipping on a delicious Chablis whilst nibbling on fragrant cheeses and aromatic olives.
Italian Vino & Cheese Hamper - $151.87An enticing mix of hand crafted Italian wine paired with waxed artisan cheeses and handmade chutneys make the majority of the contents of this basket perfect for a sumptuous Christmas cheese board.The Pietro Sartori Amarone Italian red wine is made using an ancient method in which the grapes of Valpolicella are placed in a ventilated room and dried over a period of three months. Once they have reached the point in which they are dried to perfection, they are then transported to temperature controlled stainless steel tanks where they are pressed and fermented. Once fermentation is complete it is relocated to concrete tanks, where the process of malolatic fermentation takes place. After this has been carried out the wine is transferred to oak casks for two to three years. This age - old process gives the wine a delectable plum and oak taste on the palate.
