Ok, so you've probably seen us going on about Get Well Gift Baskets, but do you actually know which items go into our Alternative Get Well Gifts?
1) Fresh Fruit
This is quite an obvious one, as the most popular thing to give to someone poorly is some lovely, healthy, juicy fruit.
We started offering magazines and novels in our gift baskets a number of years ago, and they have been a really popular addition. You can choose from a range of titles/genres such as Celebrity, Lifestyle, Fashion, Beauty, Travel, Football, Cars etc Book wise we have recent publications by popular authors and the titles are always light-hearted.
To keep the old mind active during the recovery process we include puzzles such as sudoku and crosswords, wooden puzzles to physically solve and most recently adult colouring books designed to relieve stress.
4) Pampering Pick-Me-Ups
We have a wide range of pampering items both for him and for her, and they can make a lovely addition to a get well gift for someone who needs to relax and indulge in some "me time". From bath melts, massage oils, body butter, candles to head massagers, face masks andbosy wraps.
5) Healthy Food/Drink
We also have recently added to our "healthy eating" range with flaxseed, coconut water, fruit crisps, chia seed, hemp and granola.
Which of our Top 5 Get Well Gift items would you most like to receive if you were feeling under the weather? I would welcome all 5 I think, but you can always play it safe with fruit only baskets if you don't know the recipients tastes all that well.
