What do you guys think is a perfect retirement hamper? For me, I always think cheese, wine and maybe some biscuits. It seems a bit odd to celebrate somebody's retirement with no wine. That being said, I fully admit that I'm not really a wine person. Give me tea any time of the day.
However, if you are a wine person then here is a great retirement hamper for you. Michael (Lostwithiel, UK) would be receiving this one tomorrow.
The Gourmet Cheese & Wine hamper is one of our smaller hampers, but size doesn't matter because as you can see, this hamper is charming as could be. It's actually one of our popular hampers because it's so suited for so many different occasions. Did you know that during December, more than 250 customers had received a Gourmet Cheese & Wine hamper? In fact, the number is much more than 250, but I haven't finished calculating them yet.
Now, what if you are like me and don't really like wine? What kind of all-occasion gift would I suggest?
I think the Great Taste Award Silver is perfect for you then. I ordered one for my sister last year and she was utterly amazed by it. Even now, she keeps elbowing me for any of the products in the hamper that we might not want anymore, she would be very happy to help get rid of it. No such luck there, little sister! This hamper is going to Cathering (Chester le Street) who isn't feeling very well. The sender, Khaula (London) ordered this as a get well gift for her and hopes she get well real quick.
What is a hamper dispatch blog without some salmon and ham on display? How about an Artisan Eclectic.
Jeanne (Bishopstwon, IE) would be getting this wonderful hamper delivered to her door tomorrow, just in time for her birthday. It was ordered by Juanita (Worcester Park, UK) last night as a surprise gift for her friend.
