Isn't it great to see the brighter mornings and evenings that come with the impending arrival of Spring. The clocks will also be going forward in a couple of weeks time which will really help matters. I was reading an article about how 4-6% of people suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder in the Winter months, and up to another 10-20% suffer from a mild form of it. It's a form of depression triggered by the seasons of the year & can make functioning during the darker months really difficult. People living further from the equator tend to be affected more so wouldn't it be great if we could send them the gift of sunshine to help cheer them up? I was reading my son a bedtime story about showing someone how much you love them and one of the lines is about "catching sunbeams in a jar". How lovely eh.Until we work out how to capture sunlight we like to think that each one of our get well gift baskets are a little ray of sunlight for the people receiving them. The bright and colouful fresh fruit, flowers, puzzles, magazines, gift cards and balloons (we even have a sunshine one!) are sure to brighten their day and raise spirits when they are feeling under the weather, recovering from an injury or illness or just in need of a general pick-me-up.What do you think folks? Would one of our get well baskets cheer you up or what would you like to see included in this range?
