Milestone Birthday Proof & A 90th Birthday Basket
Earlier in the month I mentioned that my Dad, my sister and I has been out for lunch on my birthday. Now we knew that dad's 90th Birthday was coming up but he kept insisting that he was 'only' turning 89 years. When I sent him his Birthday Hamper I included one of our 90th Birthday Cards which incidentally are designed in house. I told him that I had proof that this was in fact his age and this proof would be following shortly. Back home I hunted through all my old photos until I found this one.
Grandad's 80th in 2005I remembered that we had a Birthday BBQ held in his honour for his 80th Birthday and on that day we had showed him BasketsGalore's plaque for winning the Best Web Site Category at the recent Bangor Business Awards. Being very proud of BasketsGalore he had insisted on getting his photo taken holding the plaque. This photo has been his downfall because you can quite clearly see that the date on it is 2005 meaning that exactly ten years later he is now ninety!
