We would be very grateful if you would please familiarize yourself with our Pricing and Delivery policy found here in our Terms and Conditions.
These conditions shall apply to all online transactions between Baskets Galore.co.uk (“Baskets Galore”) and any person, firm or company (“the Purchaser”) placing an order online with Baskets Galore for the manufacture and/or supply of any goods (“the Goods”). Baskets Galore, by accepting any order for Goods from the Purchaser, agrees to sell and the Purchaser agrees to purchase such Goods at the price stated on Baskets Galore website and on the sole basis of the terms and conditions of Baskets Galore stated herein.
All prices quoted on this site are in GB Pounds. We accept online payments via all major credit card companies inc. Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Paypal. You may also pay 'offline' via Cheque (made payable to Basketsgalore Ltd) or Bank Transfer. A credit account may be opened by corporate clients, subject to trade references and application approval, on the strict condition that payment is made within 30 days from date of invoice. In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on our website we reserve the right to abstain from fulfilling the order at that price. The customer will be notified by email informing them of the correct price, and given the choice to proceed with the order.
All address information must be accurate including the postcode, and the recipient's telephone number. We cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the recipient's address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered, when the courier obtains receipt of the goods confirmation from any person at the address.
It is the customer's duty to ensure that someone will be home to sign for the gift, which will be delivered by third party couriers. Where the courier is unable to find a person to accept delivery, a calling card will be left for the recipient to contact the courier and arrange to pick-up, or to agree an alternative delivery time at the discretion of the courier. If the recipient fails to make contact in good time, the goods are returned to us, and a charge will be made for re-delivery. The purchaser will also be charged for any items which have become unsuitable for sale, and need replacing, such as perishable items inc. cheese and fruit.
We employ third-party courier services to deliver our Gift Baskets and Hampers, and as such we do not have complete control over the delivery process. Customers can request a specific delivery day, and we will do our utmost to deliver on that date, however specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed. NB* Delivery on a specific date may not always be possible at peak times such as the last week in the run up to Christmas.
- Returns, Refunds, Cancellations & Damages
We are dedicated in ensuring all our Gift Baskets arrive with you in perfect condition. In the rare event of a gift being damaged, please contact us within 3 days by telephone, or email us at email@example.com
Damaged Goods must be returned to us suitably packaged. We will replace or refund the items concerned.
Unwanted or unsuitable goods can be returned within 7 working days of receipt, as long as the goods are in perfect condition, and the packaging remains in an “as new” state. Both the despatch and return costs will be the customer’s responsibility, and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged or faulty. We recommend using Royal Mail's registered standard postal service to return the item. In accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling, perishable goods or customised goods made according to custom specifications may not be returned.
Please contact us by telephone, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know that you would like to return an item. You will then need to print and fill out our Returns Form and return it with the unwanted item. All returns must be packaged to prevent damage, with the Returns Form enclosed. After we have received the goods, a refund will be made to the purchaser's credit card, this cost excludes the cost of delivery and the return costs.
In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive you have the right to cancel the contract up to 7 working days starting the day after delivery. In this situation please contact us to let us know you would like to cancel your order and then please return the goods to us. The goods must be unused, in perfect condition & in their original packaging. As our items are made-to-order it is necessary for a small handling fee to be charged for the return of unwanted perishable or customised goods.
You may cancel an order up to 24 hours before the requested delivery date. However, if we receive notice of your cancellation later than 24 hours before the delivery date, you may be too late to halt the delivery. To cancel your order if the goods have already been dispatched, you must notify our customer services team by email to email@example.com
We reserve the right to charge an additional fee for carriage, handling charges or unusable content in the event of a failed delivery caused by the supply of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, or if the end receiver fails to respond to contact attempts to arrange/ reschedule delivery by either our delivery agent or ourselves.
Whilst every effort is made to supply items as specified, the contents of each gift are subject to availability. Baskets Galore reserves the right to substitute any items where appropriate, and guarantee that all replacements are of equal or greater value. Plates, glasses and other props shown in photographs may not be included in a hamper unless specifically listed. Wine vintages and labels may vary from those shown.
Sale of Alcohol Items containing alcohol can only be ordered and delivered to those 18 years of age and over.
- Force Majeure
Baskets Galore will exercise every reasonable effort to meet the requested despatch date. We shall not, however, be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.
In the event that you have a complaint please notify us in writing via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org Any comments you have will be welcomed by us, taken very seriously and treated in the strictest confidence and dealt with immediately. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and give you a timescale for resolving your complaint and keep you informed of progress

No warranty is given by Baskets Galore that their web site will be constantly online or free of defects and errors at any time.
