I always remember time seeming to drag when you are young, yet nowadays it just seems to flash by incredibly quickly and we are now in the middle of July. There are local holidays here on the 12th July and so most places close down. As the couriers do not collect for a couple of days during these holidays, we too are off for a couple of days. This means this week and next week will be 4 day weeks of dispatches, but there are still plenty of lovely gift baskets and hampers to showcase.
On Monday, Dan selected this Thank You Hamper Gifts: Fancy Pantry gift basket orderd by a company in Maryland, USA to a partner company in Felixstowe. The gentleman customer wished to thank them for being a great team. This is a great gift for a group of colleagues to share as there is a selection of teas, coffee, biscuits, tray bakes, cakes and chocolates to feast on.
Tuesday saw my son Theo's favourite game being featured in our Busy Bee For Boys Gift. He is about to turn 3 next month and absolutely loves the Shopping List game by Orchard Toys. He knows all the different items including aubergines and curry sauce. This one was ordered as a get well gift for a poorly little boy in Southall, from his Aunt, Uncle and Cousins in Camberley, Surrey.
I just love Wednesday's choice of the Birthday Party Basket, as it has so many amazing treats in one gift basket. The online picture doesn't even do it justice anymore, as the cake has been upgraded to a 400g iced Madeira cake. You can see from our image below that the cake sleeve has also been personalised with a 30th birthday sticker, so no prizes for guessing what the occasion was. This was ordered by a kind lady in Richmond to her friend in Wexford, on yes her 3oth birthday. She hoped she had a fab day turning the big 3-0 and wished she could be there to celebrate with her.
Thursday was our final dispatch day of this shorter week, but it didn't disappoint. This gorgeous Auntie of Mine Gift was shipping out to a lady in Northwood, Middlesex from her family in Pretoria, South Africa. When I looked the order up I discovered this wasn't the only gift basket she was receiving. She was also getting an Artisan Twin Scran Food Hamper, and a 50th Birthday Hamper: URA Top Tea Cookie. What a lucky lady, we hope she had fun celebrating her 50th birthday with lots of lovely treats.
Slightly more short and sweet today, as we are talking about 1 less gift but as you can see milestone birthday gifts were popular this week, as were get well gifts for kids and thank you gift baskets. We hope these ideas may have provided you with some gift giving inspiration, either to try yourself or to let us help you with. Otherwise we will be back next week with plenty more options and occasions to celebrate.
