Gift Basket Occasions Of The Week
It's hard to believe that next week is the last week of March, and we're preparing for a busy one with the impending arrival of Mother's Day on 31st March. We were off on Monday for St. Patrick's Day and so I'm only getting around to the weekly round up of Gift Basket Occasions Dispatches last week, 11th - 15th March.Monday saw this colourful creation in the form of our Get Well Fruit Survival Basket For Her to aid the speedy recovery of a lady in Cheltenham. This basket has everything she needs to feel better with fresh fruit, drinks, baked goods, nuts and a variety of entertainment such as the popular ladies magazine, light-hearted reading novel, puzzle cards, puzzle book and adult colouring book.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy...isn't this a baby basket of cuteness. Tuesday saw the ever popular Mummy & Me Deluxe Baby Boy showcased which as the name suggests is all about the new baby boy and new mummy. They've done all the hard work after all!! Baby gets a 100% organic cotton babygrow and blankie comforter, while mummy gets drinking chocolate, a box of chocolates and new mother bath soak. To share are the Mummy & Baby matching mug set. Perfect for sharing some hot chocolate and marshmallows in years to come.
Wednesday was full of fun and lots of lovely Irish Hampers shipping out both locally and across Europe for the St Patrick's Day holiday on 17th March. Many of the products we stock are of Irish origin and some of our foods hampers are 100% Irish. We also decorate them with green shred and ribbon to really help theme them. This one was the aptly named St Patrick's Day Hamper and was ordered by a Mom in the US for her son studying in Roehampton University.

It comes with a choice of photo albums - 18th, 21st, 30th or Gorgeous Birthday Girl for a general birthday age. It also comes with lots of luscious pampering treats, as well as sweet treats and a bottles of rosé wine and a bottle of fizz. We trust the birthday girl in Swadlincote, Derbyshire enjoyed this amazing birthday present from her Aunt & Uncle.
Friday is my day, and although Friday's can sometimes be a little bit quieter for dispatches I wasn't stuck for choice. This happens because the next day delivery option becomes Monday and so we can't ship out fresh fruit or smoked salmon baskets on a Friday. UNLESS our Customer chooses to upgrade to a special Saturday delivery service. This costs a bit extra, as the couriers have to send a driver especially to deliver it. However, it's a great choice if you really want the gift to arrive on time for a special occasion like a Birthday or Anniversary. My choice was unusual, in both name and style! We haven't seen the Unusual Cheese & Wine Gift feature for a while, but here it is in all its glory. Cute isn't it? A lucky birthday girl in Warwick was receving this special Saturday delivery for her birthday, from a dear friend. Although she did refer to her as a "gorgeous old goat" in her message. 😂
