The Gift Basket Process - The 7 Steps

Here at Baskets Galore our dedicated packing team assemble each and every basket fresh and in house. An exceptional amount of love goes into making our beautiful hampers. We pride ourselves on the lengths we go in order to exceed our customers expectations! With exquiste attention to detail and a flare for exceptional presentation it is no wonder we receive rave reviews. Our baskets go through a 7 stage packing process before they are ready for to be shipped off! STAGE 1
The first stage of our packing process is the assembly of the hampers. A member of our packing team recieves a packing slip listing the contents of the basket. When thinking of the packing list, think of it a bit like a shopping list and our warehouse like a supermarket. A packer will walk around the fully stocked shelves collecting the components needed to assemble the basket you have selected. Once all of the items within the hamper have been gathered they then start assembling it. The member of the packing team will go and retrieve an appropriate basket that will comfortably fit the contents and look of the hamper. The empty gift basket is then stuffed with coloured straw in order to product the contents and enhance the appears. The contents of our basket fit like a jigsaw, each one with a specific place for security and presentation purpose. Once the hamper has been packed to perfection it is then on to stage two! STAGE 2
Stage Two of the process is where the hampers are shrink wrapped. Shrink wrapping takes places in order to secure the contents and minimise disruption during delivery 
STAGE 3 Stage three is all about the aesthetics of the hamper! A member of our packing team picks a ribbon that will match the contents of the baskets (for example if you are sending a fruit basket they may choose a green ribbon, or a new baby girl basket a pink ribbon etc). Our ribbons are made with the finest organza and hand tied by a member of our team giving that awe inspiring affect. STAGE 4
Once the ribbon has been chosen the next stage is the wrapping of the hamper. All of our hampers are wrapped in a clear cellophane and then heat sealed.We heat seal the cellophane in order to ensure it does not unravel during the delivery process. Like the ribbon, our baskets are wrapped in cellophane by hand and also heat sealed by hand. By carefully caring out this process by hand we can not only monitor the progress of the basket but it also monitor the aesthetics of the baskets and ensure that the end result is magnificent. 
STAGE 5The gift card stage - this is where you come in. During check out you will be asked to type a giftcard message to be added to the basket. We take your giftcard message and put it into a card which appropriately reflects the message within. Once the message has been placed inside the card, it then put inside an envelope and arranged on the front of the hamper, stating clearly the recipients name alongside your order number. STAGE 6
Once the hamper has been beautifully decorated with the card fixed upon the front it is then transferred into a branded box. The box is very important as it adds another layer of protection for the basket whilst getting delivered. 
STAGE 7FINALLY! The hampers are fully assembled and ready to go. They are given to their designated courier and dispatched to be delivered within as little as 24 hours throughout the UK and Ireland!
