Mother's Day has always had a special significance in our family.  Ever since I was small I remember my own Mum baking something special to take to my Granny and later on to her Father's new Wife, after her own Mum had passed away. In those days there was neither the money to buy them nor the vast variety of goods available in the shops to celebrate this special day and my Granny always had lovely flowers growing in her garden. Hence it made sense to bake something lovely and then we could all join in for a wee cup of tea!Now-a-days we all have less time to start baking from scratch but it is still possible to personalise a present for your Mum, on this special day, by choosing one of our speciality Mother's Day Gift Baskets (see the full range here)

My particular favourite is "All Mum's Favourites Gift Basket" because it was designed for me with a special mug, but this year I also particularly love "Wonderful Mum". It's a little bit more expensive, but with a lovely printed tea towel 'What is a Mum?' and a bottle of Chardonnay  and also "The Story of Mum" with its printed poem, hand cream and scented candle. All our Mother's Day Baskets have such lovely names - it would make my day really special to receive any of these Gift Baskets.
