Some days, you go to the warehouse assembly area and your eyes just get drawn to a specific basket in particular for a multitude of reasons (eg. it's a rare purchase, the colours, the size, the gift message, or it really, really, really sang to you that day); sometimes, you go into an multiple baskets sing to you. I'm the latter today.
Today, I was eeny-meeny-minie-mo-ing between 2 different pregnancy baskets, a wedding basket, a birthday basket and a get well basket. I think I must have looked so lost out there as I pick up one basket an inch off the table, then set it down, picked another, set down, rinse and repeat until I did it to each baskets twice at least.
In the end, I chose the get well basket.
The Mind Over Matter basket is for keeping the mind active for those of us who aren't feeling well and needed that mental exercise lest we bore ourselves to tears in our misery of being under the weather. The wooden puzzles in this are bound to get those gears turning and test your IQ levels.
It also contains from sweet treats in the form of waffles, small cake, medjool dates and for that zing and crunch, a packet of Nim's fruit crisp. When you select the basket, you get to choose if it's for a male or female recipient as well; this helps us decide which type of novel to include.
This basket is being sent off to Rochester, UK tomorrow for Lynne. It's a get well gift from her colleagues in work. Get well soon, Lynne!
