I've always loved having a June birthday as it meant there was a chance of sunny weather & an outdoor celebration. As a child I was able to get a bouncy castle in the back garden for one of my birthdays and it's one of my favourite memories. As an adult we usually have a birthday barbecue, although a few of these have been rainy despite it being Summer. I also have quite a few friends with birthdays in June so it also means joint celebrations, and a busy month for me. Throw in the fact this year it was the day before Father's Day and I have had quite a few birthday gifts to arrange.Just for fun, I had a little nosey at celebrities with June birthdays and noticed Venus Williams shares mine! Do you share a birthday with anyone famous? So this weekend I've spent quite a lot of time eating, drinking and playing with the kids in the sun. It's probably just as well I got a barbell set as one of my birthday gifts as I'm probably about to be the size of a house. What is the most unusual birthday present you have had? A barbell might sound unusual but I had asked for it after recently signing up to online gym classes. I also got lovely bunches of flowers, a handbag, a bracelet, new shoes, pyjamas, bath bombs, sweeties and some vouchers. I'm a lucky girl eh.Birthday Gifts Baskets (shop here) are one of our most popular ranges, as if you have a friend or family member who lives in another town or country then you can select items that they love and we wrap them all up, make them look beautiful and deliver the gift basket directly to them. It such as time and money saver when you don't have to organise everything yourself or ship something big and bulky internationally. If I was able to pick one of our birthday gifts for myself, then I think it would have to be our "Uncork & Unwind Birthday Basket"Although this wasn't a milestone birthday, this basket also comes with a general birthday gift option and if selected the photo album and birthday card will just have a birthday theme and not a 18th, 21st, 30th birthday theme.I love some bubbles or rosé wine as a treat and chocolate and popcorn also go down nicely. I rush around after my 2 young boys quite a lot so could definitely do with some "me time" with the bath melts, face mask and candle (also themed for a birthday). My friend Louise actually bought me some bath bombs and instructed me to leave the boys to Andy and have a nice relaxing bubble bath! The handbag fund money pot also made me smile, as I got one for my birthday and so could then start saving for my next one! What would you like included in your ideal Birthday Gift Basket?
