We love a good trending topic/hashtag on Twitter and today we noticed it was #WinnieThePoohDay (18th January). This is because on this say in 1882, Winnie The Pooh creator A.A Milne was born. It got me thinking that I don't think my son Rowan (age 3) has any Winne The Pooh books, which is strange as he LOVES books and so I must get one to read to him.People of all ages seem to love Pooh, as he has been around for so long and reminds everybody of their childhood. The tales of Pooh and his friends are truly heartwarming & I enjoyed reading all the lovely quotes, including the one below. Winnie The Pooh DayPooh Bear has featured in a number of our gift baskets over the years, in jigsaws, memory games, novelty balloons and baby bibs. And last year Lynne sourced these beautiful Winnie The Pooh Figurines, one for a new baby, one for a 1st birthday and one for a general happy birthday. Lynne then created these luxurious 1st Birthday Gift Baskets featuring the Winnie The Pooh Figurine and Silver Tag Collectors Bear by Suki for those wishing to send a little boy or girl a really special first birthday present.Do you have any special mementos from your first birthday or simply from childhood & if so what?
