As I write this, my potential final pre-baby blog, I'm sitting in the comfort of my own home while also supervising the delivery of new bedroom furniture and the hanging of new curtains! With only 2 weeks to go until my official due date, it's still all go for me. We moved house a couple of months ago so are putting the finishing touches to it before baby no 2 arrives. As I'm self employed I'm not taking official maternity leave so am still helping out at BasketsGalore, although everyone keeps asking me when I'm leaving! I am office based most of the time anyway so they've just banned me from the warehouse area for now. I'll maybe take next week off... Luckily I can come in a bit late, nip out for appointments or go home early if needed as we're a family business with a lovely team of staff to help out. Another perk is getting to test out some amazing pregnancy skincare samples and cute baby items from our Baby Gift Basket Range :) I've already got a scan, massage and haircut booked in for this week too, so I'm a part-timer already anyway. What week did you start your maternity leave, and did you spend it relaxing or doing last minute jobs? This pregnancy has definitely been different to my first. With a 2.5 year old to entertain this time,  I can't just sit down or sleep when I want and I've had a few more aches & pains, but the time has also just flown by. Rowan has been a great boy though & looks after me by getting me a "wee seat" for my sore back or cuddling up on the sofa when I need a rest. At the start of my pregnancy I felt slightly guilty that Rowan would have to share us soon, but now it's close he seems quite excited and I think he'll be a wonderful big brother. He's very kind and loving, and also very smart & a bit of a bossy boots so I think he'll enjoy having a little brother or sister to order around & teach things to.I had seen lots of wonderful maternity shoot photos on Pinterest featuring toddlers & so asked my husband to capture some of Rowan & I. We did get that "perfect shot" eventually, but the lead up ones of slobbery kisses and tickles were too funny not to include, & show the real story, so I created a little collage.Rowan & BumpNo doubt this actually won't be my last pre-baby blog, as I am late for everything, but if it is then I will speak to you all again in a few months. My lovely colleagues will be keeping you up to date in the meantime, and I'll be back in November to help out with our busiest time...shudder at typing it....Christmas! Yes the new 2016 BasketsGalore Christmas Hamper Range will be launching very soon indeed! Thanks for reading, talk to you all soon!
