Sometimes, you may have noticed that our Cheesy Sunshine range is described as a hamper and also as a basket. Honestly, it kind of works for both. In my head, if you pop a lid on a basket, it becomes a hamper. If you cellophane wrap it, it's a basket. I'm not sure if that is the proper definition, but it's mine.Back to the Cheesy Sunshine. The other reason behind the hamper/basket discussion is that certain variations of the range are in fact a lidded hamper.2409794 Cheesy Wine BirthdayCheck it out! The one on top is a Cheesy Birthday Basket. However, if you add a bottle of wine, it becomes a Cheesy Wine Birthday, in which case it would be like the lidded hamper below. In this case, the change in container and presentation style is to protect the bottle of wine and there isn't quite enough room in the basket to slip it in, if presented cellophane wrapped style. Now let's go bigger. Let's head on over to the Great Taste Award section which always seems to boast a giant hamper or two (or htree, four, five or many more)2409792 GTA GoldThe Great Taste Award Gold is always a favourite. It contains an excellent selection of products, well-balanced between savoury, sweet, artisan, traditional and new. It's a big hit for the corporate companies during Christmas because of how fantastic it looks and is, and it's not just during Christmas, throughout the year too! In fact, the one picture above was ordered by a marketing company in the United States, and it's being delivered to a company in an industrial estate in Hemel Hempstead. Actually... wait... oh! In fact! Correction, TWO of them are being sent to them. Lucky~Let's go even bigger, you say? How about a Great Taste Award Platinum?504473 GTA PlatinumPlease note that this is not all the products in the hamper. I ran out of room on the worktops arranging it all out. It may not contain ham and salmon like the Gold hamper did, but the Platinum is chocked full of other goods. With more cheese, more baked goods, more preserves (the raspberry ham is delish!) and more chocolates, this hamper is a like a treasure chest of surprises. Today's hamper was ordered by Omar and Katrine, who is sending this as a wedding gift to David (Dublin, IE). Unfortunately Omar and Katrine are in the middle of moving apartments and would not be able to attend the wedding, as such, this hamper also doubles up as an apology gift for non-attendance and thank you gift for the invite. Talk about being suitable for all occasions!
