Football On The Brain: Competition Prizes
Well it may be all over now, but for a month there the majority of the country was swept up with football fever as Euro 2016 gripped the nation. Congratulations to Portugal who ended up beating France in the final earlier this month. And what about that moth eh!We noticed a corporate customer placed an order on our website for our popular "Footballing Flair" gift basket the day after the final, and then noticed he had in fact ordered 4 of them!
Occasionally people order 2 baskets by mistake, perhaps they add one and then leave the page & when they come back add another. Due to this we try to check any multiple orders we think may be a mistake with our customers by sending them a quick email.On this occasion the gentleman in question confirmed that he did in fact wish to have 4 of these gift baskets delivered to his work address, as they had run a competition on their social media pages throughout the Euros and these were the prizes.
The baskets are full of snacks such as crisps, ginger beer, cheese, nuts and themed with a current issue of a footballing magazine and a football slogan mug stating "Football – Some people think it’s a game of life & death. No, it’s more important than that." It also has a beer fund bottle of dreams money box so he/she can save for their next night out.We hope all the winners enjoyed their football themed gifts and they helped to temporarily fill the football shaped void in their lives, until the new season starts shortly anyway!
