Last week, I was raving on about the lovely sunshine we were experiencing, fast forward a week and I look out the window to see gloomy clouds all over - boo! Well, honestly, it's a welcome spell of cooler air actually, because it was getting really warm at night the past few days. My sister and mum even dug out the old standing fans we used to take abroad with us, back in the days when places don't have air con. The hot weather also had me eating a lot more fruits than usual as well and since it's apricot season, I'd been stuffing myself with those nowadays. Even looking at the apricots in the baskets makes me a bit tempted...2408781 Fruit & SnacksAnd there's juicy grapes, kiwis, polished apples and prettiful plums as well. Needless to say, I was very, very tempted by this Fruits & Snacks gift basket. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't for myself. Rather, it's for Omar (Bournemouth, UK) along with a very heartfelt message from the sender full of apologies and love. I don't know about you, but if I had an other half and they sent me this basket with a similar gift message, I think I would be won over almost instantly... or at least be convinced to share the contents of the basket with them.Speaking of gift messages, here's another one which I must say, I haven't seen on a gift card before.
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Isaiah 49:16
Maybe the other girls on the blog had seen it, but it's certainly the first time I've seen a bible verse being used in place of a gift card. It certainly gives the gift a different kind of deeper meaning.2408780 Fruit & Healthy DrinksIt's going with this Fruit & Healthy Drinks basket to Tracy in Braintree, UK. I hope they understand the sender's meaning. With the sunny weather the past week, I had noticed a significant difference in my dad's daily routine. He's actually waking up a lot earlier in the morning! Why? Because he tries to make the most of the sunshine,  throw his kit into the boot of the car and run off to who knows whatever golf course to play a through rounds. I suppose when the sun is out, people are all the more likely to spill out of their houses and pursue an outdoor sport. Unless you too ill for it. Fear not! There is always golfing magazines! Like the one in this Get Well Fruit Survival for Him.2408776 Get Well Fruit Survival for HimYou can't really see it but it's tucked at the very back, behind the Bamboozler puzzle set.  It's not just golf magazines we do either. We also have Men's Health, GQ, TopGear and more. Just specify from the dropdown menu which one you would like and our team would include it with the basket. This one was ordered by Justine (Darwen, UK) and is off with well wishes to Edward (Preston, UK).
