New fruit alert! New fruit alert!
Okay, maybe not exactly 'new' fruit since apricots are hardly a newly discovered ball of yumminess. But it's been a while since I've seen them back in our fruit baskets (or maybe I haven't noticed?) Here at Baskets Galore, we try to include seasonal fruit where we can to add variety to the basket and give that extra ounce of tropical, exotic, orchard feeling (depending on which one was ordered) so sometimes you can go for months or a year without seeing some fruits. Hooray it's apricot season again! They're my third favourite fruit. First being mango, of course. Second is Dragonfruit and I know nobody asked but my fourth favourite is Cashew Apples.
Anyways, forget about me, let's move onto the baskets!
First to appear is a Birthday Favourites basket. This one was ordered by Lisa and MJ in Orlando, US. It's for their mum in Accrington. Lisa and MJ wants their mum to know that despite the distance and the differences in time zones, they are thinking of her and hope she is doing great on her birthday.
Lisa had learnt that Derry hadn't been feeling very well but it's good to hear they're on the mend now. She hopes they will see them up and about soon in the Skerries, Dublin, IE. We are sure this basket would help 'mend' them even faster because it contains a lovely selection of vibrant fruit, baked yummies to help the happiness along, a balloon and a thoughtful get well message card to bring out the smiles and a fantastic jigsaw to preoccupy the mind as the body works on getting better.
So we had covered a Birthday occasion and a fruit basket for a Get Well occasion? What's the next big thing to send a fruit basket for? Thank You? Yep, let's cover that.
Fruits and Chocolate are perfect for sending your thanks. Healthy and just a touch bit indulgent with chocolate truffles. How could anybody resist? It is the ideal gift as the weather looks so fine nowadays, so the fruit would look even more colourful and delicious. Who can say no the sight of a basket of fruit under the sunshine?
