Although the weather has improved slightly in the last few days, it still seems bitterly cold for April (sometimes we've experienced the 4 Seasons in the one day!) and so a few of us at BasketsGalore are starting to escape to warmer climes for a week or two. A little bit of sunshine really seems to help improve your mood & health after all, well that's our excuse anyway.Roma is currently on holiday in Greece, Jonny is just back from Spain and Kasia from Poland. Kate is then next to head of in May to the USA. Lucky ducks eh. I can't complain either, as I have a holiday to France to look forward to in June. I will unfortunately miss out on the wine and Brie cheese however, as I'm lucky enough to be expecting a baby in August. Exciting times. I am also about to move house and so I think I'll definitely be in need of a holiday as they say it's a very stressful time.We often receive gift basket orders to say thank you for a "lovely holiday", "amazing visit" or for "allowing us to stay in your apartment/villa" and these type of orders certainly pick up in the Spring/Summer months. You can make these as general or personal as you wish, depending on how well you know the recipient making them the ideal thank you gift. Sometimes you are thanking a couple or whole family too and so there can be a little something for everyone in a gift basket. Are you heading away on holiday/vacation anywhere soon? You know where we are should you need to thank your hosts. I have sent such a gift basket before as my husband's Aunt always welcomes us into her home in London when we visit. Her favourite request is usually potato/soda/veda bread and Tayto Cheese & Onion crisps!
