Thanks to a Twitter hashtag I noticed it was National Gardening Week this week. Selina should really be writing this blog as she is the green-fingered one amongst us, but instead of gardening tips I am going to give you gardening gift inspiration instead.National Gardening Week Popular gifts for gardeners would be kneeling mats, trowels, gardening gloves, bulbs & seeds, books, a gardening magazine subscription or an annual pass to popular gardens, parks or National Trust sites perhaps. We also include a few gardening related items in our gift baskets, such as magazines, flowering plants, hand creams and lotions but we intend to add to this collection with our upcoming range of personality themed gift baskets. Gardening is such a celebrated hobby of many that it makes sense to include gift ideas for green-fingered recipients.Selina recently blogged about a product we received samples of, that allowed you to grow your own mini garden or vegetable patch and Lynne has also been researching seed boxes by a company called Kabloom. We'll bring you further info on these Seed Boxes, or Seedboms as they call them, when we begin to stock them and see them filtering into our gift baskets but the basic idea is that you "soak it, through it & grow it". Sounds interesting eh!
