Following on from our Mother's Day flowering plant extravaganza I thought I would update you all on my own little display. It consisted of the plants which were left over from Mother's Day and which I helped myself to (well I am the director's mother after all & they would have gone to waste otherwise).
I had a little wooden container which I lined with plastic and filled with some compost. I put the little rose plants into this & placed them by the window. I also left one plant in it's original pot to compare them. Two weeks have now passed and the little planter is still lovely, but unfortunately the single rose bush looks rather dried up. I would suggest therefore that anyone who received one of our flowering plants should re-pot it into a larger container for best results.
Can you spot Toby, our Beagle photo-bombing my picture? Remember when he came to work during bring your pet week?
