We are now back to porridge after a lovely few days off for Easter, and after being closed for a couple of days we are always very busy with dispatches. I normally write Monday's blog & volunteered to write today's as Victoria is very much processing all your lovely orders. It was so busy today that it felt like a Monday anyway and I had lots of choice.
The first hampers to catch my eye were 2 giant Great Taste Award Diamond's as they really are impressive in size and contents. Both hampers were going to Ireland, Limerick & Dublin to be precise, as thank you gifts. The senders wanted to thank the recipient couples for the wonderful holidays they had. One of the messages really made us wonder though as she also apologised for having "broken their ceiling"! She also hoped they liked the "potentially strange food" in the hamper, but we can testify there's nothing strange only delicious gourmet goodies.
All in green were these Breakfast Baskets and Gourmet Cheese & Wine Baskets, 2 of our best sellers. The 3 x Breakfast Baskets were all shipping to one address in Swindon, to be given out directly by our customer so we hope they are well received. The 5 x Gourmet Cheese & Wine baskets were ordered for a range of occasions from birthdays, to new home gifts to late Easter presents.
I noticed lots of drinks lined up in a row, thinking they were ready to be stacked out onto our shelves. However, Sylwia then advised me that a customer had "created their own" gift and selected lots of bottles of lemonade and fruit juice. She has forgotten to pick a container to house all the items in & so Neil stepped in to make sure they were packaged securely and also presented nicely. This is the before shot. The gentleman receiver must be a thirsty boy, or perhaps he's having a birthday party and these are some supplies.
My final hamper choice for today is this Mega Cheesy Connoisseur, ordered by a lady from Brisbane, Australia. She sounded so excited & sincere in her gift card message to thank the recipients for looking after her and making her holiday in London amazing. She also told them to "enjoy this basket of love" - ahh!
