It's the start of a new month of Daily Dispatches, so we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for taking part and sharing our images throughout the LONG month of January.
Once again our Sale gift baskets and hampers are flying out, and I noticed 3 Great Taste Award Gold Hampers lined up ready to go today. They were all for different occasions too which makes things interesting. The first one was a 'thank you' gift to a mum & dad in New Milton, for everything they had done for her. The second one was a 'new baby' gift to Dublin, and the message explained how her mum & dad had received a food parcel when she was born and had always thought it was a brilliant idea. The third Gold hamper was of the Champagne variety and the occasion remains a bit of a mystery, as no message was included. Perhaps a celebration of some kind?
I picked the next hamper, Great Taste Award Red Titanium, as I thought the gift card message was lovely: "I realise this is extremely late, put wanted to say a huge thank you for making Christmas so special this year. I had a great time thanks to your efforts. Lots of Love". Better late than never eh, and we're sure the couple in Newbury will appreciate the thought.
My final hamper choice of the day is our Artisan Fayre Duo again as the message, written mainly in French, caught my eye. "Merci pour tout Daniel.
J'ai adoré travailler avec toi et j'ai beaucoup appris. Come back to Montreal soon afin qu'on recommence a s'amuser! Gros bisous a ta reine et ton ptit prince." Basically it was to say thank you for everything and that she had enjoyed working with him & had learnt a lot. She also wanted him to come back to Montreal soon for more fun.
