With this being the last week of fruit basket orders, it's definitely showing a decline in my favourite vibrant fruit baskets. There were very little to be seen amongst all the baskets and hampers queued up on the worktops, ready for their final make up session with the cellophane and ribbon packaging team.I did find a lovely Get Well Fruit Survival for Her basket though.2402045 Get Well Fruit Survival for HerAangelee in London isn't feeling well so Maria in Morden, is sending her this fruit basket to cheer her up in her time at the hospital. I love the way the grapes are positions diagonal and centred in today layout for this basket. It gives this unique and fun twist to an already great looking basket. It really does show that art, design and creativity is part of the job in the warehouse! (Not surprised since one of the girls on the team is our head photographer!)Then, we have a basket with flowers.1001964 Flowers For HerThe Flowers for Her basket was originally designed as a Mother's Day basket two years ago. BUt the customers loved ordering for their mummy so much that we can't find the heart to remove it from our range. Today's Flowers For Her basket was ordered by a pair of 'kids' in New York who unfortunately cannot make it back to their mum's 60th birthday tomorrow in London. Poor dears, I'm sure their mum would understand and wouldn't mind. The gift would come as a sweet and loving surprise.Lastly, let's have a fruit alternative baskets. 803191 CYOThere is no actual fresh fruit in this basket but I cannot help but think this customer created basket quite suits the theme of fruit alternative. With the upcoming hiatus on our fruit basket distribution, how about rather than sending a fresh fruit basket, send a fruity basket that could last? From beautiful citrus lemonade to raspberry crush, then the lovely fruit jams as well. Still plenty fruity for me!
