Baskets Galore’s Customer Gifts – Gift Hampers 15.10.15
Yesterday, we were pleased to see the first of our Christmas orders coming in. And we thought, wow, these people are nice and organised! So it was that this morning, we came into work and saw another Christmas order, a Christmas Traditional Celebration, we thought it somebody getting ready ahead of time. Except it wasn't? The customer had picked a delivery date of.... tomorrow? Maybe they forgot to choose a Christmas date, it happened before.So Roma decided to give the customer a call to double check the date with him. And yes, it was indeed for tomorrow and yes, they definitely want this hamper!Oh dear, the problem is, our suppliers are still in the process of taking Christmas orders and just started making the actually Christmas stock. You don't want to make them too ahead of Christmas, then they will expire before December is even in our sights. Thankfully, after explaining this to the gentleman, he understood and we suggested switching the mince pie and pudding for something else, a plan he agreed with.So here is the finished product:
Instead of mince pies and pudding, we exchanged them for things such as cookies, fruit candies, a gorgeous peppermint cream slice, and is that a new product I spot tuck right in the middle? I wonder what this product is? Mwahaha, you will hopefully see it soon in our online range. For the time being, Christine in Tralee will be the first one to find out when she receives this hamper.Next, let's move the delivery destination a little across the map to Navan. Eileen would be getting a 100% Alcohol Free Hamper.
It's a Thank You gift from a sender in Honiton. This hamper comes with a wealth of goodies, all alcohol free and all sumptiously tasty. Take a look at the jar of honey in the bottom row there, it's one of our newest products and I am tempted to see if there is any way I can steal a sample of it. Doesn't it look so... artisan and cute?Moving acorss the map again, this time acorss the water to London, it's somebody's birthday tomorrow.
Eldrid (what a beautiful name!) is getting this Mega Cheesy Duo hamper as a birthday present from Simon. I'm not much of a wine person myself but you have to admit that adding two bottles of wine to a hamper definitely adds this kind of luxurious impact to the presentation. Naturally, what draws my attention more is the cheese! Oh so yummy creamy cheese. I had always wondered what the reganas in the basket would taste like when paired with the cheese. Maybe with some chutney on it too... oh, I am sure it must be delish! Please excuse me while I try to hold my cheese craving at bay.
