Baskets Galore’s Customer Gifts – Gift Baskets 26.10.15
Monday has rolled around again & as I write this blog it is dark outside already, following the clocks going back yesterday. Did anyone get to enjoy an extra hour in bed or did the kids have you up early?A good customer of ours got in touch a couple of weeks again asking about gluten free products for her sister in Mountcharles. We sent her some suggestions and she created her own gift basket based on these for delivery on Wednesday. This morning I noticed a couple of frantic Skype and Facebook messages from Jen to let us know her sister was going away for her birthday. She wanted to check if we could upgrade her gift to the overnight delivery service, for arrival tomorrow instead. This of course was no problem, we are happy to help. We also snapped a quick pic of the basket she designed complete with a 'Holiday Fund' money pot of dreams, bath scents, candle, bookmark, balloon and those gluten free cookies and cake we suggested.
I was in a sweet mood today, and I think a lot of our customers were too as there were plenty of chocolate and candy gift baskets to choose from. I opted for this lovely Sweet Nostalgia gift basket full of everything a sweet tooth desires, and winging its way to Oxford from Johannesburg for the "love of her life" - aww!
Now you're bound to have heard of new baby gift baskets, but what about new parent gift baskets? Sometimes our customers like to focus on dear old mum & dad, as baby always gets WAY too many gifts. The message accompanying this one was "enjoy these gifts for yourselves & 1 for baby Michael, as you adjust to life as a new family". Friends in Helston created this lovely combination gift basket and added a beautiful frieze ABC gift card which also doubles up as a decoration for babys room.
