A lovely display of fresh fruit and pretty potted plants greeted me on today's cruise around the warehouse.
Two old favourites caught my eye, as they are similar in contents but have very different themes. One basket is Birthday Favourites and the other Get Well Favourites. Both baskets have a selection of fresh fruit, chocolate cake, chocolate truffles and all butter shortbread, but one has birthday candles and a balloon, and one a get well balloon. The birthday version was ordered in San Francisco for a mum in Sutton Coldfield. The Get Well version was ordered bu a company in Guildford for a poorly colleague in Andover. The team had added some complimentary nectarines and plums to these baskets too, so we hope they are well received tomorrow.
Next in the bay was a cheeky Create Your Own fruit basket, ordered for a Pearl Wedding Anniversary gift. We think their sons combination of citrus fruits, pineapple, mango, creamy cheese, olives and honey worked really well. We adorned it with a little floral arrangement to complete the look. Speaking of Pearl Anniversaries, this gives me the perfect opportunity to wish my husband's Aunt & Uncle a "Happy Anniversary" too, as they are also celebrating 30 years together today.
I always like to include a flowering plant basket too, and this example has both fruit and flowers - Floral & Fruit Thank You Basket. The lucky lady receiving this glorious gift is also receiving a beautiful gift card message; "as a boss you are motivational and as a human being you are inspirational, I can't thank you enough"
Finally, I noticed this next basket was ordered by a local company who normally order Christmas hampers from us. On this occasion they have gone for a get well fruit basket for a poorly member of staff, Boredom Buster Get Well. We hope the fresh fruit, bakery items, book, magazine and puzzle help her on the road to recovery. Again this basket was adorned with a pretty floral posy which really adds to the overall look.
