It is back to normal now at BG Headquaters, as Roma and Kate are back from their travels! I had mentioned in my Daily Dispatch Blog that Roma was whisked away to New York with her boyfriend and Kate was visiting family in Hong Kong! Apparently both these locations were boiling hot, but that won't stop them returning! I'm glad the girls got some sun though, as there was none this summer at home! Now we are all back together, I am able to fill you in on my week as a Baskets Galore Customer Service Advisor. How I Helped A CustomerDuring the week I had an email from a past customer called Orla, she had recently placed an order and wanted to include a little extra treat. Orla purchased the World's Greatest Daughter/ Sister Basket and this was going to her daughter Cailie at school in Dublin. As Orla had purchased before, she mentioned how amazing the Sugar & Spice Cupcakes are, and if we could include one of these in Cailie's Gift Basket. This was no problem at all! I was able to get a quick snap of this before we dispatched and sent this to Orla as we offer a free photography service if customers would like to see their Gift Basket before dispatch! Orla loved it and she emailed us the next day to let us know the cupcake went down a treat.Orla 1Something Nice/Rewarding That HappenedDuring the week, another past customer called Sue had made an order but the delivery date was incorrect, she needed this for Next Available Day delivery. This was of course no problem as she contacted us before our 4PM GMT Cut Off, I simply asked the warehouse to prepare Sue's Gift Basket for dispatch, I printed the delivery label and off it went! Sue was more than pleased with this service and even left a generous and lovely review:'I'm full of praise for this company! I've been using them now for several years, and I can always rely on them for high quality products and excellent value. This is especially important to me since I'm on the opposite side of the world to my family, hence the fact that I can fully trust their service is invaluable. They are a delightful company to deal with, and their gift baskets are always well-received by the people I send them to. Wholeheartedly recommended!' - Sue.  You can view this review and others HEREreviewscoukSomething Difficult/Frustrating That HappenedHere at Baskets Galore, we do a daily track in house of all the dispatched Gift Baskets, and we had a recent email from a customer informing us their Gift Basket hadn't been delivered. As this had been signed for, it seemed delivery was made. However, Nightline had some difficulty delivering this Gift Hamper in Ireland. They  asked a local for the address of the recipient and unfortunately, they delivered to a house that was indicated as the recipients, but was actually not.Ireland has some extreme remote and small villages and sometimes locals are the only way of finding someones address, but on this occasion we needed to have this returned. Our customer was satisfied with the resolution of this but of course they were disappointed with the overall delivery.Something Funny That HappenedOn a lighter note... While sorting orders I noticed a very odd comment regarding delivery of a Gift Basket. Our customer had kindly noted: 'Elderly old man who will moan if he has to get up to answer door... Fingers crossed me Mum is in...'. Well I am glad to inform you that their mother WAS in and delivery was made without a hitch :)grumpyBest Reason For Sending A Gift BasketWe dispatch numerous New Mother Gift Baskets daily, and of course labour is a difficult and can take a while... but 31 Hours?! A customer had purchased the luxurious Great Taste Award Gold Hamper for her friend, as she had  some TLC to do!
