Katarzyna and I attended Emergency First Aid training course earlier this month which was very interesting and we enjoyed it a lot. Katarzyna is making sure that everybody is safe in a warehouse and I am in a office. We not just learned a lot, we met a new interesting people as well, there was people from dental practice, swimming lifeguards from local leisure canter, security guards. We learnt how to help someone who has been injured or taken ill, including how to call for a help, how to make casualty safe and comfortable before ambulance arrives, how to asses a casualty, how to place casualty in a recovery position, how to perform CPR on an adult and a child, how to deal with breathing problems such as chocking, how to control bleeding and prevent it from infection as well we learned how to deal with shock. So many things we went through in one day, but it made a huge difference. I had first aid training course before, but this was so much different, so much useful, practical information. Trainer Warren knew how to make everyone interested and involved. He thought us in a way that made it stick with us without us even noticing. I feel more confident than ever.
