Hopefully by now our Baskets Galore readers know that we LOVE to help out our customers in any way we can. This week we were contacted by the lovely Emma who wanted to send her friend Nicola a survival package if you will, as she had just given birth.Emma wanted to add some of Nicolas' favourite items and some life saving treats she would need now she has begun motherhood. Along with some of our delicious chocolates, muffins and sweets, Emma wanted to add the following mummy essentials:
  • Yorkshire tea DECAF tea bags
  • Lansinoh nipple cream
  • Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream
  • Batiste dry hair shampoo (What a great idea for mums on the go -a new Gift Basket product perhaps?)
  • Soap & Glory Original Pink Eau De Parfumâ
This was no problem for our super BG Team to source and it all came together great! We also sent Emma a picture of her Gift Basket as we have begun a Photography Service for any of our customers who would like a sneak peek of their Gift Basket before dispatch (Shrink wrap and ribbon):dangerous goodsWith all systems go, we dispatched Emmas' Gift Basket... and then DHL struck! Roma and I were opening up the next day and DHL had returned the Gift Basket to ourselves, this was because of the dry shampoo. They described this as a 'Dangerous Item' as it is compressed and could not go on their internal flight, so there went our idea to include dry shampoo for our Pamper/New Mother Gift Baskets. We informed Emma of this immediately and removed the item so we could dispatch again for Next Day Delivery. We had also included our luxurious Exquisite Chocolate Sauce as this was our complimentary item that we had on a Promotional Offer that week. (Now we are including a complimentary pack of Forest Feast’s Savoury Mediterranean Mix, you lucky ducks!)Finally, Nicola received her Gift Basket and can now indulge in Emma's hand picked snacks and lotions. And on to the next custom Gift Basket, whatever it will bring!
