Plenty of fruit and flowers on show in the warehouse today, and Johnny was carefully arranging them as usual. He is such a perfectionist that they are always the last photo's us "Daily Dispatchers" get to take before they are collected by the courier company, ready to be freshly delivered tomorrow.There was one basket in particular that Johnny seemed to be working on forever, and I soon realised why - it was gigantic! A very lucky lady in Billinghurst was getting our Ultimate Get Well Gift For Her from her very good friend in Bromley. Her message read along the lines of: "Enjoy your luxury gift basket, although you might kill me for sending all the sweets!" She'll be pleased to hear that it's not all sweet things, because there is also A LOT of other stuff in there. Ranging from books, puzzles, DVD's, a teddy bear, a jigsaw, bath creams, fresh fruit, fruit juice, healthy tea..oh the list is endless. It can be hard to show the size of a basket in a photography so I placed one of our BasketsGalore pens in front to try and show the scale. I even had difficulty lifting the basket to photograph! We hope you enjoy your gift and get well soon.
One of our best-selling fruit baskets is 5 Star Fruit and I noticed a couple of these going today. One was ordered just as it was, and the other was going along with a get well soon balloon and gift card. Our quality control experts (i.e the Directors) even arranged for some extra fruit to be added after I had photographed them, as they obviously have the authority to top gift baskets up to enhance the presentation factor. So although this basket is advertised with grapes, apples & small oranges they also received some extra grapes, a nectarine, plum and passion fruit. A beautiful Create Your Own 50th Birthday gift was also leaving us today, destined for a gentleman in London. This was quite a healthy creation, full of fresh fruit, Sicilian honey, fruity tea and fruit & nut mix. They had also themed it with a 50th birthday mug and gift card. We didn;t have an appropriate larger 50th card in stock at the time and so added some extra blueberries and a smaller card to make up for it.
Finally we just had to include a flowering plant one and so I selected this lovely "Flowers For Her" from a gentleman in Tipperary to his (girl) friend in Edenbridge. The gift was to mark the 1 year anniversary of them becoming friends, how sweet is that! This basket comes with a choice of mug and magazine and he opted for a 'Special Friend' mug and Marie Claire magazine. We think he has definitely cemented the friendship with this lovely gift.
