Well, that was interesting! Mere moments before I started writing this blog piece, we were struck by a power outage. Naturally, everybody panicked but once we found out that the vast majority of the orders had been organised for dispatch already, we calmed down. It made me glad that I went ahead and got all my pictures for this blog before I started writing them. Imagine trying to photograph these lovely baskets without good lighting to do them justice! The first thing I saw when I went into the warehouse for basket photography was this nice little number:CYO Birthday Customer Creation - Birthday BasketThis basket is one a customer created on our Create Your Own Gift Basket website. It is going to Edinburgh to celebrate her mum's birthday. What especially caught my eye though was the cheese! We had stocked Carrigaline Cheese before and they had recently be brought back but some of them are now sporting new packaging. I think it makes them look very exquisite.Next up, we have the ever popular Deserving Treats gift basket. This one will be going with a Get Well message from a pair in Fife, to be delivered to Edinburgh, again! Which ribbon do you think we should decorate it with? I vote that luscious shade of purple on the left.Deserving Treats Deserving TreatsThen, I turn around and I spotted this trio of cuddly companions hanging out on the workbench.Just hanging out here, don't mind us Just hanging out here, don't mind usDon't they look adorable? The basket with the brown bear is the Chill Out basket and it would be heading to Broxbourne to put a smile on a student's face during her intense study period. The one with the brown rabbit is a World's Greatest Girlfriend basket and contains a similarly names mug and will be going to London with extra kisses in the gift message. The pink rabbit will be also be finding a new home in London alongside its Cozy Cuddles basket
