Birthday's Close To Christmas - A Good or Bad Thing?

So who out there has a Birthday close to Christmas? Either before or maybe at the start of January? Do you like having a Christmas birthday?Lynne's birthday falls between Christmas & New Year and she has always hated it. In the past it was because our parents or her friends would fob her off with 1 present to cover both occasions or because no-one wanted to celebrate with her as they were saving themselves for New Years Eve. Since creating BasketsGalore it is because she has to come into work after the Christmas rush when we are all tired and stressed.Our little brother James' birthday is at the start of January, but he tended to like it as he often had the day off school. He thought he was more likely to receive a birthday present than me with my June birthday for example. This was because our relatives would come to drop our Christmas presents off and then would also give him a birthday present, whereas I just got a card in the post. It's funny how different people view and experience things either positively or negatively.Victoria in our office had a very important birthday last week, her 21st birthday! The proximity to Christmas didn't seem to bother her as she got spoiled with a surprise holiday to Spain this summer.
