'Create Your Own' Gift Basket Of The Week (June 14)
I tend to find this blog difficult to write, as there are always so many lovely creations to choose from! Instead of always picking a favourite, I am trying to pick ones for various different occasions and the more unusual selections.Lately fun gift baskets have been the most popular "Create Your Own" creations as the new candy, popcorn and chocolate characters are proving to be a big hit.So one that caught my eye was actually in an attractive wicker hamper, and contained more traditional items while still looking fresh, colourful and delicious!
This hamper was actually designed by a communications company as a 'thank you' to a couple they employ for their hard work.I don't know about you, but I would certainly feel appreciated if I received this as a gift. It is full of lots of lovely savoury snacks and meats such as salami, venison, cheese, paté, chutney, crisps and crackers. There is also a choice of lemonade, ginger beer, fruit cake, fudge, boiled sweets, traybakes and chocolates. A little bit of everything really. This may be because the purchaser doesn't know the recipients tastes all that well and so they have decided to cover all bases.
