Is it just me or is it harder to choose birthday presents for men than for women? When it comes to thinking of a gift for a father, brother, uncle, grandad, husband, son etc I find myself struggling a lot more than for the ladies in my life. Having said that, my boyfriend is actually quite good at naming expensive presents of big brand named items he'd like that will cost me over £100. I have since learnt to just pick him something myself!
There are just so many more things available that us ladies will love. Gifts for men generally tend to be a bit boring (socks or a wallet) or expensive (computer games or gadgets). Whereas us ladies love such a variety of things like chocolates, bubble bath, flowers, perfume, clothes, make-up, jewellery, shoes, handbags etc.
Before I joined BasketsGalore I would never have thought about buying a man a gift basket, but we offer some really great ideas in our gift baskets for males. I've selected a few of my favourites to talk to you about.
Cheesy Birthday Basket (£39.99)
This basket would be one of our most popular gift baskets from the male birthday section, as they say the way to a mans heart is via his stomach!
A tasty Mediterranean themed Birthday Basket for those who enjoy cheese & savoury goodies, topped off with a birthday balloon and birthday gift card.
Gadget Guy (£49.99)
This gift is great for a man who loves his gadgets.
This makes a brilliant birthday present, or get well gift if he's recovering after illness or an operation. The Silverlit Sky Thunderbird features three channel 2.4GHz radio control, is easy and fun to fly and is suitable for both beginners and enthusiasts. It is remarkably robust, and has been styled to appeal to all ages, with an incredibly smooth and responsive performance. Accompanied by your choice of popular Men's Mag, some sweets and baked goodies.
Special Grandad/Dad Basket (£44.99)
I think this is a nice gift to buy someone from their little one, as it for a dad or a grandad on their birthday.
Let him know he's the World's Best Dad or a Special Grandad by sending him a gift basket full of snacks and treats and a gift boxed mug. All he needs now is a deckchair in the sunshine!
Remember these are only a few ideas that I have chosen to talk about, remember to check out our website for more birthday gift ideas.
