Feeling a bit under the weather?? Well I asked some of my colleagues here in Baskets Galore what their cures would be when they are feeling poorly. The mother of the company, Selina, always say’s “What about a nice we cup of tea?”. This always reminds me of my Nanny as this is something she always said. The other famous saying is “Feed a cold, starve a fever” which got me thinking what other ideas people had to cheer themselves up when they didn't feel well.Andrea told me that she had also heard of that saying and she likes to take a hot bath when she is feeling unwell and relax in aromatherapy oils.Roma said that while she normally has a healthy diet she uses feeling unwell as an excuse to eat a few naughty foods like chocolates and sweeties!I thought I would get a male opinion too & Jonny in the warehouse told me that as he mainly works in the stores he likes nothing better than to go home and have a hot chocolate drink.  Even when he has the flu and is feeling under the weather this is something that he would drink a lot of.Pavel also works in the warehouse & I asked him what he does when he has the cold as he is a person who likes to attend the gym and always brings in a healthy lunch compared to some other members of the team. He said that he likes to eat more fruit when he’s sick as he feels it’s important to get all the right vitamins into the body and help fight against the cold.Personally when I am sick, I just like to curl up in bed and sleep it off. I never seem to have the energy to do anything else. I find it so boring when your sick, and daytime TV is pretty poor, so I tend to get the latest celebrity magazine and try and catch up on some of the latest gossip. If you know someone who is feeling a bit under the weather at the moment then perhaps a get well, fruit or pamper gift basket would help to cheer them up?What about you guys? What are your feel good techniques?
