Customer Announcement - No Deliveries Within Ireland on 17th MarchJust a quick reminder that unfortunately there will be no deliveries within Ireland and Northern Ireland on Monday 17th March 2014, due to the St Patrick's Day holiday.St Patrick's Day is a national holiday in Ireland so all businesses and schools tend to be closed, including the courier company we use for our deliveries. This means if you would like a gift basket to be delivered in time for St Patrick's Day you will need to order by 3 pm on Thursday 13th March (at the latest), so it will arrive on Friday 14th March. There are no weekend deliveries available & our sister company Ciseáin Go Leor will also be closed. Any orders placed on Friday 13th will be scheduled for delivery on Tuesday 18th, providing they have non-perishable contents. Any baskets ordered containing perishable items (such as fruit & salmon) cannot be dispatched until Tuesday 18th, for Wednesday 19th arrival. We will endeavour to email any customers who place perishable orders during this time to explain this also.Any orders placed over the weekend & on Monday 17th March, for delivery in Ireland or to BT postcodes, will be dispatched on Tuesday 18th March for next day arrival. Although our BG offices will be open, our sister company and the Irish delivery company are closed so there can be no dispatches to Ireland/N.I on this date. Please note it is only deliveries to Ireland and Northern Ireland that are affected. Deliveries & dispatches within the UK & Europe will go ahead as normal. As always you can track the deliver progress of your gift basket via your BasketsGalore account at any time of the day. If you notice that the recipient was not at home when the delivery was attempted then the courier driver will have left them a calling card letting them know he/she has a delivery for them. It will contain local contact details so the recipient can ring & request it to be redelivered on a date of their choice, or the next available date. As part of the BasketsGalore service we monitor all deliveries too, as well as providing customers with tracking codes. This means we can step in to help in the event of any problems noticed by ourselves or you.Thank you for your understanding & we'll also post information on the Easter delivery schedule in the next few weeks.
