- How To Order
Basketsgalore allows you to order any gift via our website in complete confidence. The shopping basket allows you to check and modify your order before you arrange payment and delivery. You can view your order at any time by clicking on the 'Shopping Basket' link located on your right on our web page. When you are satisfied with the contents of your shopping basket you can click on 'Checkout' at which point you will need to complete 3 easy steps to finalise your order. Your personal details including your credit card number are kept private, and are protected during transmission using SSL encryption, your details are 100% secure. You will know this because of the yellow padlock linking to the GeoTrust Website Identity Certificate displaying Basketsgalore as an encrypted website.

We accept major credit cards and debit cards including:

All prices quoted on this site are in GBP £ Sterling.
Your credit/debit card will charged in GBP Sterling.
All goods will be despatched upon full payment being accepted.

We have taken every precaution to make your transactions secure.
Our site uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL 128Bit) security for entering your credit card number.
To view the Security certificate confirming this, click the right hand mouse button on the page where you enter your credit card details.
From the menu that appears select 'Properties' and then 'Certificates'.
The site will then display the certificate proving it is secure.

The information we collect and how we use it
This site uses various registration and order forms so we can complete your order. During this process we collect:
Your Details (address, email address, telephone number, etc.)
The Recipient's Details (address, telephone number, etc.)
Your Payment Details (credit card number, expiry date, etc.)
All payments details are erased immediately after payment has been processed. Under no circumstances will any personal information given by you to basketsgalore.co.uk be traded or sold to a third party. Your recipient's details are also collected in order to ensure correct gift delivery. Once again, under no circumstances will any of your recipient's personal information be traded or sold to a third party.
This website uses 'session' cookies which are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the website. These cookies cannot be used by themselves to identify you and your visit. You may choose to disable cookies in your web browser privacy settings in which case it will not affect your visit to our website or affect your online shopping activities.
How we store information
We use a secure server (SSL) to encrypt all of your payment information. We use strong security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of your information once it is in our records.

- Delivery Information
We deliver to the United Kingdom, Ireland, & Europe (European Union countries only)
24Hr delivery to the UK & Ireland; inc. England, Scotland, Wales, Southern & Northern Ireland.
24Hr delivery to Europe. Some European destinations may take 48 hours.
Deliveries are made during normal working hours Monday to Friday. For your peace of mind, gifts are sent via a signed for courier service which is fully trackable online.
Saturday delivery is available at a cost of £23.50 - as this is what the courier companies charge, and we are forced to pass this on.
All parcels require a signature upon delivery. All address information must be accurate including the postcode where appropriate, and the recipient’s telephone number. If no-one is at home the courier will leave a calling card, so the recipient can arrange free delivery.
Although customers can request a specific delivery day, and we will do our utmost to accomodate your request, we do ask that you please bear in mind that specific delivery times or dates cannot always be guaranteed.
All Christmas orders are despatched in December. All orders will be delivered in time for Christmas. We trust that you will understand that we are unable to offer 24 hour turnaround on Christmas orders at this busy time. If the expedited delivery option is chosen your order will be pushed to the front of the queue where possible. We will keep you updated on the progress of your order via email. Non Christmas orders for Birthdays, New Baby, Get Well etc.. will be despatched as normal.
- Returns + Refunds
- Incorrect or incomplete address or recipient information supplied by the purchaser.
- If the recipient specified by the customer refuses to accept the parcel.
- Our courier attempts delivery and a signatory is not present.
- For hard to locate addresses, our courier attempts to make contact with the recipients by telephone to ask for directions, without success.
Damaged Goods
We are dedicated in ensuring all our gifts arrive with you in perfect condition. In the rare event of a gift being damaged, please contact us within 3 days by telephone, or email us at returns@basketsgalore.co.uk In this event we will arrange for the item to be collected and returned to us, thereupon we will replace or refund.
Unwanted/Unsuitable Goods
Unwanted or unsuitable goods can be returned within 7 working days of receipt, as long as the goods are in perfect condition, and the packaging remains in an “as new” state. Both the despatch and return costs will be the customer’s responsibility, and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. We recommend using a reliable insured courier, or registered post, to return the item. In accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling, perishable goods or customised goods made according to custom specifications may not be returned.
Please contact us by telephone, or email us at returns@basketsgalore.co.uk to let us know that you would like to return an item. You will then need to print and fill out our Returns Form and return it with the unwanted item. All returns must be packaged to prevent damage, with the Returns Form enclosed. After we have received the goods, a refund will be made to the purchaser's credit card, this cost excludes the cost of delivery.
This returns policy is in accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling (Directove 97/7/EC.) These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Refunds for Goods Returned to Sender
Baskets Galore reserves the right to refund up to 50% of the original order value in the event of non delivery due to the following reasons:
In the event of a parcel being returned to us we will refund the cost of your order minus the shipping costs. If an error has been made or an incomplete address has been given, the cost of shipping together with the same cost for return of the parcel back to us, and possibly further restocking charges will be deducted from the total value of your order.
Basketsgalore reserves the right to make a charge of a minimum of 50% of the original order for re-directing or re-sending the order.
Cancellations
Should the purchaser, for any reason, request to cancel an order prior to despatch, the purchaser agrees to reimburse any loss incurred by Basketsgalore
In the event that the purchaser should cancel the order after despatch Basketsgalore reserves the right to refund up to 50% of the original order value.
All refunds will be made within 7 days. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
- Substitutions
Whilst every effort is made to supply items as specified, the contents of each gift are subject to availability. Basketsgalore reserves the right to substitute any items where appropriate, and guarantee that all replacements are of equal or greater value. Plates, glasses and other props shown in photographs may not be included in a hamper unless specifically listed. Wine vintages and labels may vary from those shown.
Sale of Alcohol
Items containing alcohol can only be ordered and delivered to those 18 years of age and over.
- Complaints
In the event that you have a complaint please notify us in writing via email to: info@basketsgalore.co.uk Any comments you have will be welcomed by us, taken very seriously and treated in the strictest confidence and dealt with immediately.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and give you a timescale for resolving your complaint and keep you informed of progress.
- Subscriptions
As an Basketsgalore customer you may receive promotional offers via email, not usually any more than four per calendar year. There is an option at the bottom of each email enabling you to unsubscribe at any time.
