Spring is always a busy time for Gifts Baskets as we have Mother's Day, St Patrick's Day and then Easter all arriving in quick succession. St Patrick's Day is next up on 17th March, and this means a nice day off celebrating Ireland's primary Patron Saint for our Irish Office.

The whole world tends to turn green for St Patrick's Day as it is celebrated as both a religious and cultural holiday. Ireland in general is celebrated as there are so many people of Irish heritage based all around the world.

As with any major Holiday or Occasion, it is no surprise that people like to send gifts to celebrate. So what goes into a St Patrick's Day Gift?

Luckily for us we have LOTS of lovely food & drinks that are made in Ireland and Northern Ireland. In fact, we even have a sister site dedicated to them called Irish Gourmet. This makes it very easy to create a hamper of Irish origin, at any time of year and especially for St Patrick's Day.We also tend to receive special requests, particularly from International Customers or Customers in Ireland wishing to send an Irish Food Hamper to friends or colleagues. The one below for example was sent to The Netherlands and Germany last year, and contained the ingredients for making a Black Velvet Cocktail from Guinness and Champagne!

Please just get in touch with any requests, and if you wish to pay in Euro our Irish Based Sister Company websites are BasketsGalore Ireland and Irish Gourmet Ireland.

New for 2021/22

We listened to the feedback and introduced our Emerald Irish range of Hampers last year. You can read more about this 100% Irish range here, but in short we were able to put together a whole range of hampers using products sourced from the island of Ireland only.

We have included gourmet food items from almost all the Irish counties, and these products are used throughout all our Gift Hampers not just the Emerald range. Items include chocolates, cake, cheese, smoked salmon, chutney, tea and jam.
